In 1995, the first edition of Survey Methods for Transport Planning was published. Since then, it has been used around the world by many transport planning and survey professionals, and in many university courses on Transport Survey Methods. It has also formed the basis for many Workshops on Transport Survey Methods conducted by the authors.

The print run on the first edition has recently been exhausted. A second edition of the book is currently in preparaton and will be released towards the end of 2005, both as a web-based eBook, a CD-based version of the website, and a traditional paper copy of the book.

In the meantime, this website presents the first edition in simplified eBook format (the second edition will contain many more links and interactive features) to tide you over until the second edition is released.
